Belonging as a Practice, Not a Destination

Belonging isn’t something you arrive at one day; it’s something you practice. You practice it every time you choose a space that feels safe. Every time you listen to your body instead of overriding it. Every time you say no, soften your breath, or take up more space.

Belonging is built through:

  • community that sees you

  • teachers who honor your identity

  • practices that support your nervous system

  • environments that don’t demand you abandon parts of yourself

Yoga, when reclaimed in its fullness, becomes a homecoming—a way of remembering that you were never meant to fit into someone else’s mold. You are meant to inhabit yourself fully.
